| The Arizona Lottery proceeds do not go directly to fund any programs or projects. Instead, legislation such as local Transportation Assistance Fund, County Assistance Fund or Mass Transit Fund are voted on by the people. Funds provide money for grants to local agencies as well as department sponsored programs including parks, trails, natural area development and protection and land acquisition.
